Radium Hot Springs has a lot of great activities, from Mini-Golf down the hill @ Gerry's Gelati, to exploring the thousand faces of Rolf the Wood Carver's eclectic home/studio/gallery/goat farm, and of course there are the famous Radium Hot Springs- not to mention endless hikes and adventures in next-door Kootenay National Park.
The Columbia Valley, and Invermere also have a great deal to offer, including a bustling downtown with vibrant events, farmer's markets, popular beaches and of course the huge draw- Lake Windermere. The winter features skiing at Panorama Resort, and skating and cross country skiing on the world record longest maintained ice surface (weather permitting) on Lake Windermere.
There are also lots of golf courses, restaurants, art galleries, natural hot springs, adventure sports (like white water rafting or hang gliding off of a mountain), and of course shopping! Through out the year there are also great special events, everything from the huge Classic Car Show in September to quirky and interesting CoffeFest in March.
